I have no objections with him cutting the game, the only thing that would be nice is to see an actual message of him saying he won't continue it. All these private conversations being thrown around is not very nice IMO.
In the end hosting or playing a BoP is a voluntary occupation and it should be no problem to quit it no matter the reason.
In this case, suspicion was mostly raised as to how active the players would be but in the end it turned out the GM/Host opted out very early.
I understand that that does not sit right considering the way that Dodes insisted to host before it was his turn but on the other hand it should not be forgotten that it is mainly thanks to Dodes that we are actually having BoPs on the forum at all. After all he was the one that hosted the first game and showed incredible dedication and speed there in the first few turns and we (the players) actually had to ask him to slow down!
I would say; lesson learned no more skipping the line. Be sad if his BoP died, but don't be hateful.
