I by mistake swore an oath to the Veigers, and the kingdom I am gaining fame in and liking is the Nords... Having already sworn an oath to them they seemed pretty pissed of, and now I want to know how if possible can I switch back..... I realized this after some time so no going back on my saves.

wait, what? you already gone to help a claimant? dude, you`re in deep crap! If your toon is still new, I suggest you delete it and start a new one, and watch what buttons you push. Helping claimants take the throne from the current rulers is stuff for higher levels, and the situation is very hard to fix if you did it by mistake.

Well I am level 20 with 40-50 soldiers. How high do I need to be? Also I realized this to late so I have no other save... How does this screw me over is there no way to solve this?

well, since you`re that much into the game.
First of all, how many factions are against you? If it`s just the Vaegirs(and you still want to be with the Nords), you can simply dump Valdym and try joining the Nords. Be mindful that your will lose a good amount of honor and that the Vaegirs will still be your enemies, but the former can be fixed with doing things that bring you honor and the second(if you want to fix it at all) with great amounts of money used to buy the kingdom`s favor.

I`m not sure, but if you have low enough honor, kings might not want you to join them. But that`s not fatal, and it`s fixable.

Well I kicked the guy out of my party and re-aligned myself back with the Nords. I was with then orignally and have since then have gained lots of land and made LOTS of enemies.

I`m happy it all went ok. As much as I hate the Nords, I`m terrified of the idea of someone having a bad time with this marvelous game. Good luck, and beware the archers
