First of, specs.
Win XP SP 2
Intel Core Duo 6600 @ 2,4ghz
2048 ram
Nvidia Geforce 8800gtx 768 ram
Realtek HD audio
Second, I've been running MnB fine for 3-4 months, with various mods (including Battlesizer set to 450) installed and gfx set to highest.
Now to my problem - when i installed a mod some days ago i got this really terrible lag when i enter MnB, FPS is constantly around 10 and all sounds n music starts to lag, even mp3s playing in winamp (or other sounds).
Tried all the "Optimize your MnB", "Deactivating Soundcard Acceleration" and "Single processor" tips without success, and even wiped my HDD and installed everything fresh. Got all the latest drivers and steam + MnB (no mods) and its still there.
The lag starts as soon as i press "Quick Battle" or loads a game, i don't even need to be ingame, just in the QB menu to get audio/cursor lag.
I haven't changed any hardware and everything seems to be working fine with everything else, so I'm at a dead end here. I got no idea what to do, anyone else do?
