Here is a script I wrote to backup Mount and Blade before installing a mod. I might write some install scripts for the mods I like too. I reccomend that mod writers add a link to this and tell people to run this first to prevent all the n00bs from complaining about backups. All you have to do is double-click.
Mirror 1. This is a self-extracting 7z file. People who are in a place banning exes should use the second file.
Download Self-Extractor
Same site, but a zip file. This is slightly smaller, but you need to unzip it.

The original site, with a zip file. Use if rapidshare doesn't work.

P.S. If anyone has a better host for this, tell me.
Version 4.5: It ends up I did find some bugs. Not to worry; I have now tested every part of the program on my own computer and it worked. I also changed the working directory to %temp% so that you don't have to clean the mess if there is some kind of computational error.
Version 4: Now I have compression. Though I had several very confusing problems, I figured them out faster than I expected. This version fully supports compression and decompression. I'll upload it in about 15 minutes, after a final bugcheck.
Version 3: I made huge changes. The way the program works was changed from batch files to a combination of macros and batch files. I also put in the restore utility I forgot to upload. I will add file compression in a day or two. For now, the program has officially become usable.
Version 2: I realized I made a large mistake in the code. I don't think it will affect the backup program (since the mistake only matters when restoring), but I think anyone who used the first version should delete C
rogram FilesM&B_Backup just to be safe.
