[B1.1.0] weapon balance feedback

Battles end way too quickly in this game even with the combat AI severely toned down. Should really consider 3x the current hp of units and add in legendary unique equipment which still allows the player and other lords/kings to still one shot units. Lords, companions, and kings are chumps in the game, with most having the same battlefield impact of a tier 4-5 unit.

nah i think the battles are as they should be in a matter o HP, thoug maybe nerf the enemies thoughness a bit as taking a sword to an unarmoured head and still be alive is a bit weird if ye ask me, they need to put more effort into the AI's tactics and not just stand about and fire 3-4 arrows and then go all charge into yer shieldwall. the longest battle i had was a 500vs500 and took me about 30 minutes to complete, mostly due to the enemies reinforcements and their morale dropping and coming back, if the AI had a better tactical mind they would have extended the time by being more careful with their troops.

For 500v500 battles I just charge and I've never had a one last longer than 4 minutes. Not sure what battles you're playing, probably two armies stationary on the map for 20 minutes or something.

nah they took a defensive state first but when my archers started to wreak amok in the enemy lines, they charged into my shieldwall and scattered all over the map, dunno if they actually regained their morale but i realised the soldier started to rout and then went back into the fray again when their reinforcements came a couple o times, and this was a vlandian army so they had lots o cavalry to running about and fighting both my infantry and cavalry all over the map. though to be fair this is the only time i had this kind o long fight in an open map battle, so im not entirely sure wha caused it but it was really fun.

By the way, I rarely use a 1H blunt instrument, does anyone have an opinion on this?

No point in blunt weapons (no pun intended) since lords usually have a lot of recruits (or tier 2s) and not too many armored soldiers. There's no defense to be punching through, so you're better off with a weapon with higher reach.

And prisoners are so cheap in taverns you can't earn a living with mace squadrons anymore. Unless you really want to recruit those looters, better stick to a sword
