Once I get the troop trees done.
The map won't be historical, more like a fantasy map, but the cities, villages, etc will be changed around the 0.8/9
 
TO be honest, it doesnt matter whether the troop trees are accurate or not. What really matter is the gameplay (new dialog scripts, new quests , etc) . But thats the modders choice . FOr me , troop trees that are accurate doesnt really matter, only the size of the troop trees. but then again , its the modder choice

My suggestion : Quickly release new map and change names of fiefs .... i already said it :grin:. Change the lords too. But still, its the modder's decision

Ps: I am back and i will be working the troop trees and maybe some retexturing, at least reduce the size of the textures (reduce the space it occupies like from 2 mb to 1.3 mb).
 
Hows the mod coming along?

I got new suggestion : Why dont u increase the damage of the melee weapon of Gauls , Laconians, ROmans. They seem to be underpowered.

I've thought about that... The only problem is that Thor's Hammer was returned by will to Thor's hand.. And no throwing weapon exists that can do that in Native, or any mod (from what I've seen)... It is a good idea, and it would give insane throwing damage, but do you really want to run around the map having to reequip the item after you throw it?  :lol:

I'm looking into that now. Native Expansion had some great ideas that I'm gonna try to use, and that is one of them. :smile:
 
How about just giving Thor's hammer an infinite stack of ammo. Dunno if that's possible, but sounds easier than making it boomerang.

I could just make it have 159 ammo (that's the default max, don't feel like messing with hardcoding. Lol)
 
If u want ideas from Native Expansion. Putting some kind of army like dark knights to invade is great. Or even put some elite garrisons for each faction type
 
True. But more ideas were good than just that. :smile:
The problem is I can't find a source code for NE, and the creator has been inactive for months...
 
I think that the invading army isn't hard to make, Just create a new party and set when they should spawn.
Seen a good tutorial about.
