AUTOSAVE PLEASE

Hi all...

It might be a rage post, but i dont really care atm. my M&B just crashed immediatly after i ordered everyone to go for blunt weapons as i had to capture 5 kerghit skirmishers for a quest. The game went  INCREDIBLY well. I played 40 or 50 days straight, was a mercenary for Swadia, and the Harlaus the Coward even went with us, to take Halmar. When we took it, i became a vassal and asked the king for the town, wich i got. So i was being happy about it and building more army, then this happens.

I know i should save more often, but this literally is the first crash i got on M&B Warband. Can there please be some autosave option?

All that in 10 minutes of gameplay. And by the way, I had a crash on switching to blunt weapons as well a few days back.

OMG i didnt read again. Im sorry for the useless post... Well i guess ill go back and hope for the same scenario. Thanks for the quick answer.

It still autosaves before every battle and everytime you enter / leave town the same as M&B. Look for the last_savegame_backup.sav file in the save directory, copy it and name it to one of the actual save files (sg00.sav to sg05.sav).

Nope. That file is present in my save folder, has the exact same date/time/size as my current manual save, and I'm not playing realistic mode.

If you play on the "Realistic!" setting, it automatically saves after an event, like a battle, party encounter and so forth. If you have chosen for "Allow me to quit without saving", there is no auto-save.
