Autosave and Freezing - anyway to choose how often the game does it?

I can't see any option to choose when the game auto saves.

This wouldn't be a problem normally but it seems to save every time you leave a city. But its' a really slow and clunky save mechanism.... that makes the game freeze for a few seconds every time.

I'm guessing we just have to put up with this for now?

Load a saved game select campaign options at the top is a selection to change how often the game auto saves, mine was set at 30 minutes so I didn't change it. But it looks like it will go much higher.

Press ESC go to campaign options,it can go up to 1 hour or disable by going all the way left.
