Automatic Game Patcher

With the fact the game is not fully polished and is basically still in Beta mode, an automatic patcher would do wonders for customers - new and old.

This would save people checking the site everyday in hope of a new patch for that desired more bug-free version of their beloved Warband, and would, no doubt, add another positive feature to this amazing game.

Short and to the point, an Automatic Game Patcher is needed to top this game off and help with the frequent patching (thanks to the developers amazing support for their customers), and would be a huge asset to customers.

It doesn't patch itself automatically? Wow, how medieval! I haven't had to patch a game manually in years! The very idea is just ludicrous!

Of course, I buy my games on Steam, where they're managed for me, auto-patched and kept in a single location on my computer.

If you want to join the modern age, I'm pretty sure that there's a way to get download access and patching from Steam just by adding your serial key. But since I haven't bought a game from a non-mainstream digital distribution provider in forever, I really don't know.

I know a lot of people, like myself, prefer not to use steam.  I'm not against steam but just don't enjoy using it.  In that case, having an automatic game patcher for the game itself is definitely needed for people like myself as I know a lot of people don't use/like using steam.

The patcher would be very simple to setup, I could probably set a basic patcher up myself with the M&B layout for it in less than 10 minutes as the coding required is basically non-existent.  For other users that don't code it just wouldn't be done for them.  Even if someone else like myself makes a mode for the game with one and they package it under a game patch for release as part of Warband with given consent by whoever does it.  None-the-less it is defeinitely required for non-steam users.
