How bout a auto-leveling carreer?

For example

Hero can become a

-swordsman
-archer
-horseman
-horsearcher
-assassin
-theif

Any kind of job that has to do something with killing, Just an easier way to level your character, or other heroes.  But you can also choose to customize your character on your own

I do not see the point in this. Weapon proficiencies determine that, and there's no such thing as a specific build for a class.
