Auto-block in singleplayer

Git gud.

Mount & Blade tryhards: Can we have a manual block option?
Mount & Blade casuals: No objections here

Bannerlord casuals: Can we have an auto block option for singleplayer, like the default option for every previous incarnation of M&B?
Bannerlord tryhards: Git gud

Back under your bridge, troll.

I've been playing Warband with auto-block on the entire time. Am playing Bannerlord as it is now and damn, the game is so easy if you have a few brain cells to sustain your reflexes.

And what? You want a cookie or something? Is everyone all of a sudden supposed to play like you?

And for those with disabilities of whatever kind? As have been mentioned multiple times in this very thread and on Steam and on Reddit? Do yourself a favor and read the whole thread next time, troll.

+1 for autoblocking. Also I would like to keep the game but refund the new community, is that an option?

Thats the price for the success and the many, many sales.
Considering how much money it will wash into the pockets of Taleworlds i'd say it can be worth it.
But yea, all those idiots who think their way is the only one are annoying as ****, in general.
You get used to those if you play alot of different games and roam the brutal fields of steam community hubs for a while though.

With all due respect, complaints won't fix anyone's disabilities. And Mount & Blade never was a casual game.

A few days on Reddit community were Hell. All these arrogant toxic newcomers are getting on my nerves.

The Steam forum for Bannerlord is being at least somewhat policed - there's been 2 threads on this topic that have been closed due to the trolls - but Taleworlds is practically enabling this "git gud" BS with their lack of response.

They also seem to be very young, and have apparently only just discovered the internet. We could well do without those kind of folks.

Mount & Blade is a skill based experience if you're not suited to get better at it than it's not your game. No one's gonna change the core aspects of the gameplay.

And Mount & Blade never was a casual game.
Auto-block was the only kind of blocking originally. It remains the default option for a fresh install of all current M&B titles except for Bannerlord. Manual blocking was added, back in the day, due to player request.

M&B has *ALWAYS* been a casual game. You can enable cheats from the launcher for crying out loud. Only the MP tryhards are delusional enough to think otherwise.

Back under your bridge, troll. M&B is not the e-peen stroking platform you're looking for.

Yes. Core aspects of the gameplay. Like autoblock -- the default blocking control setting of all of the other titles.

T

That is not the definition of a casual game, wikipedia can offer you some help. Neither is the game marked as "Casual" by Steam.
A series of games using autoblock as the default setting is not the definition of a skill-based game. Therapy can offer you some help.
