WhiteEagle! I think I fought a Napoleon: Total War battle with you last night. 

But anyways, I've always wondered if it was possible to make something like this. So apparently it is.

Lots of great feedback from Crusader today, based on his event! He used it to balance 3 of the servers for the Saturday Linebattle and I can't wait to get to work on some of the suggested improvements!

Haha, nope, it was a 3 vs 3, you, me, and some other guy on the same team, we lost. 
It was pretty close though. (especially considering my awful starting position...)

But anyways, glad to hear this is working well.

UPDATE: V1.1 Is now ready for download!

Changelog:
-now shows updated total players count as regiments are entered as well as updated remaining regiments left to be entered count (UPDATED in V1.1)
-now able to semi-process priority handling, meaning that it can be used to keep certain regiments on the same team during primary balancing (UPDATED in V1.1)
  How?
-Enter the specialist classes meant to be together so that they all fall under the "Team 1" title when prompted
-Enter the regiments meant to be together in a consecutive order so that the first line infantry regiments you enter follow directly behind one another

Changelog:
-now reserves 5 slots for balancing purposes (UPDATED in V1.2)
-now does not allow the entry of more players than the total slot size permits (UPDATED in V1.2)
- now allows for the entering of as many regiments as possible until server is full or until the user decides to stop (UPDATED in V1.2)

Recently, I've been playing around with a graphical user interface instead of the text based on I currently have on this, one that would be more familiar and easy to use. Is there any demand for something like that nowadays?

I've begun some preliminary work on a new, updated version with an easier interface. I plan to code it so that it can create a text file with all the regiment names, numbers, and what team they belong to on whichever server so that all you have to do is copy and paste it over into the teamspeak or whatever you're using to organize and be done with it. Plus, it won't require you to give up half your screen to the program so that you can see its output.

Much better than manually copying it over from the interface.

This new program features:
-a graphical user interface
-copy paste functionality to eliminate manual rewriting of the balanced teams
-more accurate, glitch free balancing
-the ability to select exactly what regiments and classes you want to enter

This is working 100% but is still not completely finished. There are a few minor things to change and add like preventing improperly formatted input but all the core functions are working fine. How to download and run:
1. download the zip file
2. unzip to a directory of your choice
3. inside the unzipped folder, run the shortcut called "WhiteEagle'sNewTeamBalancer - Run"

How to use:
1. just follow the instructions in the dialog boxes that appear, its an easy to use graphical user interface with just regular text boxes to enter
2. when you are done, click finish and close and the program

THE PROGRAM WILL NOW CREATE A TEXTFILE IN THE SAME FOLDER IN WHICH YOU RAN IT FROM CALLED "balanced_teams.txt". THIS TEXT FILE CONTAINS THE BALANCED TEAMS. THIS ALLOWS YOU TO JUST COPY AND PASTE THE TEAMS BALANCED BY THE PROGRAM DIRECTLY FROM THE TEXT FILE INSTEAD OF MANUALLY WRITING THEM DOWN.

*please note: the text file is rewritten every time you run the program so if you are balancing more than one server, copy the previous server's info from the text file before running it for the next server*
