Not much has changed since page 125. I used to play Warband alot back then as well. This topic was created in what March 2011. Theres 10 comments per page roughly. So that equals 10 posts per month on average. There was boost in posts and activity with the tournament happened and steam sales. Then theres forum sections in GoN and GA about Warband. And you're only worried about the mods that have affected the community? If some of you weren't so negative things could be a lot different. I mean I love Warband and Mount and Blade as a series. Just hate NW lol It's just you guys are whats left of the old community and some of you just really seem really bitter.
I get it you have insta hate towards me because A I type ****loads B I rave on about all the serious game mechanics C I'm an admin in LCC. I know Baron has annoyed alot of you with his approach but I'm the sugar one
I'm just here to cheek my way around and see whats happening
Its just fascinating at how some you Old Warbanders act. The really good guys come into servers as their real names and fight. Whether it be native, nw or fas. Those guys are happy being them. The rest of you go in fake names throw some slander and storm off. And I was catching up through this topic and the odd one of you use fake names here as well. Just amazes me.
What happens when WOTR comes out with its flashy finisher moves. The community you're reffering to and the one I'm residing in, the GoN guys and those in GA are all probably gonna meet in that game and will be sooooo interesting lol
Warband has been out for over 2 years now. The game has to evolve community shift about and Bring on MB2.

It is my pleasure to announce that BrighteousPony has returned from his strike against the Warband Community. After 22 horrible and "empty" hours, BP decide that he had tormented the community for long enough by not playing.
The strike was to stop the following things, all of which were successful during that time (Wonder why?)
Also, BP shaved his curls apparently. With enough support we expect him to take a photo of his pimply potato head for us. Thanks in advance.

Now that's out of the way: WFAS is a steaming pile of turd. It adds guns to the mix which is great if you're a huge ****** and want to not take advantage of the ONE good thing about warband, the melee mechanics. On top of that, the whole game feels like a mod, since it basically is, and weapon balance is ****ed.
NW is good only because it encourages events like line battles, on its own it is **** as. ****ing guns man, why anyone thinks that drawing the focus away from the close up fighting part of warband is a good idea is beyond me.
Baron is odd, he seems nice if you're talking to him on a VOIP program but he goes pants on head retarded everywhere else. Here's a direct quote from an argument we had on steam a while back that I saved for posterity.

I agree with you for most part. Warbands weapon balance is far more ironed out. You can properly tell the difference with each weapon and armour stats. So can affectivily set yourself up well and feel the difference when you do change something.
WFAS got close because it was a direct port from warband. Some of the guys went into mod it and found the musket code was labelled "crossbow" instead with added smoke effects. also with lots of greyed out warband code. What they didnt do is get that real fined tuned balance warband has. I find it fine but you all know im wfas fan with heap of others. Its not as bad as you think.
NW is about the muskets and reacting the line battles wont disagree there. bayonets just mortal wound you no matter what.
lol yeah being baron VA I see lots of Barons erm passionate logs. He is a nice guy until you clash antlers with him, then he gets rather persistant
