But this is the internet world. Abuse comes hand-in-hand with participation. No matter what game you play, there will be a dickhead trolling or abusing. That's why the Warband devs included the "Mute Player" selection. And that's why there are admins who are there to ensure it doesn't go too far.
Yes, no-one likes being dominated all the time. But KEEN don't play that much anyways. And yes, playing the game more does help. I know.
And if the people getting dominated didn't want to play the game, why are they playing it!?

Also: I would like to point out that while people may not have a problem with aliasing. The fact that it is usually done by those who stir up trouble on the servers gives it a bad vibe, making it the expected attitude that goes hand in hand with the names.
Saying things like "this is the internet deal with it" is just silly. Everyone has a tolerance level for ****heads, and they are doing something about it by getting angry and then choosing to extricate themselves from playing with such players. ACC1 not wanting anything to do with Subwoof as it contains members that have given him plenty of trouble in the past is part of that. Getting all huffety because of it is not going to get you anywhere, trying to improve the situation so that he would be amiable to accepting them will.

And, has anyone been in problems in the clan battles? Has there been anything serious in those? I might of missed something, but not that I'm aware of.

calling people '****heads', '****wit', 'troll', etc. in all honesty makes you 50% of the problem. now i'm not trying to prove some point with that, all i'm saying is that we should drop our grudges in order to make this community thrive. i don't know about you guys but it seems to me that most of the hate is on the forums. i've played almost every day this week and most of the people playing pub these days are new. i get along with all of them quite well, why can't we be the same?
Because thinking that everyone can get along is naive.

Did I call anyone a ****head? I was stating that people don't like hanging around ****heads, not saying anyone was/is a ****head. Personally I don't have a problem with any one, sure some things annoy me but not to the point that I am getting pissed off about it. Others however do. And as Sushi has said, expecting everyone to get along is naive.

ACC1 is refusing to let people in because of past actions of players which may or may not be justified. Getting angry at him in turn is not going to solve the problem. Talking to him about it and improving how the people in question act would.
Telling ACC1 to man up and deal with it isn't doing anything. ACC1 has dealt with it as he sees fit. Expecting and demanding zero consequences from hanging out with those that cause the issue is in itself, naive.

but as has been said earlier, if he doesn't want to let people in his campaign because of some of the things they've done (and honestly they're not bad people), then that's silly as well. hopefully after this duel tournament ends we can work towards making a good campaign which encourages competition and allows pub players to get a taste of scrims.

It feels as though some of the rules and the decision to not allow certain players to participate were influenced by personal feelings and negative attitudes towards KEEN. It's completely biased and unfair.
I don't think many people hate KEEN or KEEN players at all. 4-5 outspoken people who express negative opinions towards them does NOT mean EVERYONE hates them.
I believe most people are indifferent about them. We just don't care. If they want to have fun by playing under aliases with a silly face, saying odd things in chat then so be it. I don't see how that can be offensive and I don't understand why they should take 100% of the blame if another clan asks them to come help in their scrims.
Furthermore, the only person i have ever heard on mumble complain about KEEN is the same person who will whinge and rage about the smallest and dumbest things.
"OH THAT ****! HE ****EN KILLED ME! I BET THAT GUY IS KEEN BECAUSE HE'S ****EN **** AND ALL HE DOES IS SPAM! I COULD OWN HIM EASILY!"

Playing the martyr isn't helping anybody. KEEN has trolled and thrown their weight around in the past, pretending that it didn't happen doesn't help anyone. I've laughed at their antics, along with most other longtime players, but I've also seen what happens when they go overboard. Like Papa said, if you care so much, stop acting up. That's all there is to it.
Personally I do not care too much about all this KEEN/Subwoofer hate, but I do agree that the admins on JN_duels were dicks. Putting it into perspective, ACC1 banning a few people from GON servers doesn't compare to the bans that those JN admins dished out. I also don't really see how anyone could have thought that those TKing videos by Jean/John were funny.
Just to clarify, is KEEN_john the same guy as the old John/Jean? He is a pretty nice guy.

I don't see why ACC can't just let subwoof play, and if the same issues arise as in the past just disqualify them?
Holding even a small grudge over the stuff that has happened up to now is silly. I think our community is too small to be excluding a large group of players.
