Leatherfeet
Regular

Some of you might recognise me from the Legend of Alterac mod, it wasnt well organised and collapsed fairly soon after it had started, but now I am back after thinking the whole thing over. The world now has a name - Augnostis, and unless a better name for the mod comes up throughout work, it will be named Augnostis: Red Water.
Intro
Shortly after the battle of the Ocean (Cenarius and Pantheon), the world is falling into devestation. Hordes of Barbaric Tribes and Bandits spread across the once numinous plains of Augnostis. The flowers wilt and die as sun is blocked out by the shadow of war. Red water is soon turned to plague and the once grand cities and towns collapse under their own weight. Wilderness stretches its bony fingers, taking advantage of the suffering land, and one by one, mankind as we know it falls into darkness.
A small village in the shadow of the Archerios mountains struggles to survive. The threat of bandits and wolves lingers like a foul smell. Only a few now still hold onto hope, as the clammy hands of evil throttle the breath out of every corner of Augnostis.

Factions
Imperius Guard
The Imperius Guard are a mysterious people. They mostly have their faces covered by masks and wear finely crafted armour. They wield a variety of weapons from scimitars to halberds. They have the strongest army around.
Burnamaii
The Burnamaii are ferocios warriors, wielding spears and swords. Their hunters have the eyes of eagles and can hit targets from far away. Their only flaw is lack of armour.
(Just a couple of 5 min concepts to get started off)
Enchros
The Enchros are bulky and strong, mostly wielding axes and hammers. They are heavily armoured, but their numbers are few.
Bandits
Bandits are scum, wearing scavenged armour and rusty weapons. They will kill for fun, and travel in large numbers.
Refugees
Seeking refuge in the lands of Augnostis, these travellers come from places under a much darker shadow. They travel in hundreds, although only a few are able to fight properly, wielding whatever they can get their hands on.
Wolves
Wolves roam freely across Augnostis, feasting on any flesh they can get their claws into. They are strong and powerful beasts, a match for even the bravest warriors.
Bears
Bears are rarely found with company, yet they are still a force to be reckoned with. Food is scarce in the dying lands and like the wolves, bears will feast on any flesh they can.
Deer
Although these creatures are nearly defenceless, they are fast and hard to see.
Lynxes
Lynxes are dangerous beasts, they lurk near mountains and as with the other animals food is getting harder to claim in the dying world, so Lynxes will jump at any oppurtunity of dinner they can.
Shades
Neither man nor beast, the presence of a shade is enough to send the bravest fighters running. They wear rusty armour and are ruthless killers. They are usually sighted in groups of three or four.
Singan Natives
The primitive tribes that dwell on the singan horn are un-armoured and fight mostly with spears and bows. Little is know of these people, but bodies have been washed up on the shores, burnt, scarred and broken.
Cenarius Survivors
War hardened, battle scarred survivors of the epic battle of the sea. These soldiers wield the biggest and strongest weapons around, but hunger has slowed and weakened them.
New Proffesions
Outlaw
Living the life of an outlaw is only for the toughest. As an outlaw you will find yourself fighting against the king's armies and striving to help your village survive.
Merchant
As a merchant you will earn big money, trasporting goods and livestock for the struggling survivors of Augnostis.
Soldier
When villages are attacked their only defences are its people and what little fortifications it may posses. As a soldier you must travel from village to village, helping defend against bandit raids.
Kings Guard
Working for the King is another path one might take. All guards are given standard military uniform and must swear a vow to defend the King to the last man. As a guard you will follow the kings orders. If that means sacking your own village then that is what must be done. There are many ranks to be climbed, you could even find yourself a General.
Travel
Ships/ Boats
Merchant -Merchants may buy a boat and hire a crew to help with their errands.
Outlaws - You can get your hands on a boat as an outlaw by stealing it or buying it.
Soldier - As a soldier you can get a boat cheaply, as long as you have your connections.
Guard - With the kings permission you may be given a boat from his fleet depending on your rank within the army.
Horse
The fastest and most common method of travel.
Chariot
Chariots are hard to get hold of, but are by far the most lethal method of transport.
Games
Chariot/horse Races
Chariot/racing racing features only in a few of the larger towns and cities, although it happens very rarely due to the devestation.
Gladiatorial Combat
The main sporting event in Augnostis, most prisoners are forced to fight their way out of slavery in an arena. The most respected fighters are invited into the King's army, or to set up a gladiator school themselves.
Features
Captivity
When you are captured you are either sold into slavery, or made into a gladiator. Likewise, with your own prisoners you can start a gladiator team and bring in their winnings.

I have a few more pictures, but photobucket is playing up so i'll post them in the future. I will eventually do proper concepts for everything aswell.
Anyway, thats what I've done so far with the mod, I dont need any modellers at the moment simply due to the lack of concept art, but if you are interested in modelling for this mod, please say so and I'll get back to you in due time.
I am going to need a lot of help with the coding in this mod aswell, I learnt how do do some of it a while back, got as far as speech, but whenever I tried to get a model ingame it stuffed up, so that shows my lack of coding skills.
Thats all for the time being like I said, any ideas and critisism are welcome.
