ATI CCC 8.11 what do you think?

Same old story I am afraid. Hard locks in battle/campaign map/when selecting locations from the settlement menu.
Had to roll back to 8.4 to get stable dx9 mode.
I can't understand why this isn't a priority fix for TW? People are buying the game and at least 40% of em will be using an ATI gpu.

Last patch didn't fix much. It did fix the problem with ****ed up textures, but it also introduced new ATI related bug, so we still can't use 9.0 directx, meaning nothing has changed from my point of view. And hard freezing wasn't caused by new drivers, problem appeared immediately after M&B patch was released, not with later versions of Catalyst.
Mine does not freeze anymore it just say "Mount&Blade.exe has stopped working"

OS version, GPU, graphics/chipset driver version, DX version (test both 7x and 9x modes for stability) and game version (stating if you are using any mods)?

Ok tech gurus I need some serious help. I started mount and blade and noticed all of the text was unreadable (on the menu) it looked like weird signs. I got on the forums and it said my grpahics card needed to be changed from "performance" to "quality." I thought it was awful wierd that it would change itself but I decided to do it anyways, I looked everywhere for a menu to control my graphics card, to no avail. I thought hey isn't catalyst control center what you use to manage your GPU's so I downloaded the latest version. It installed but then cancelled saying it was already found on my computer. I went through and deleted everything with the word ATI in it, but the files wouldn't go away but it still would make me restart my PC (which I must've done 8 times) but recently I started my Pc and it was going haywire, it then occured to my I had broken my PC and ****ed up my card. I panicked, but at last minute thought to go to My Computer - Properties - Hardware - Display Adapter - Update Driver. It restored my Graphics Card but that only put me back at where I was when I started (at least I think I didn't do permanent damage other than the fact my fonts are messed up). So where do I find my menu to use this, I have found endless little exe.s and buttons on menus that say "Catalyst Control Center" but when I click them nothing happens and when I try to install CCC it starts that vicious cycle mentioned above.
HELP, HELP, HELP!!! Eternally grateful to any assistance as I seem to be in a bit of a pickle, ****.

^ Funny but not helpful, I can't do anything on my PC till this is fixed.
