At least TW now has the real chance to complete their game before CDPR does complete Cyberpunk.

Bothers me too, I can easily see it being "too hard to make work" like other cool stuff.
I was gonna play Cyberpuke but I hear that it doesn't play well on ps4.... so I'll wait.

I have 64 gigs of RAM and a GTX 3090 and I can still only run at like 45 or 30 on max grahics on my old 16gb RAM and GTX 2080 PC and it hardly runs it at low so yeah its betyer to wait
Not sure, Cyberpunk is more broken than Bannerlord was when it was released.
I mean if CDPR really wants to add all the stuff they promised in their hype trailers which I don´t think they´ll do.
They took a huge hit with this release and lost a lot of their reputation, even more than TW did with the Bannerlord EA release.
I don't think they'll do
Cyberpunks current condition is like 10x worse than Bannerlords but I think they will finish fixing the game before TW does lol

It's sad, really really sad. I was here waiting to endure **** performance just to try the amazing thing that we were waiting for, but changed my mind at the last minute after seeing a gameplay. Even though Bannerlord didn't turn out the best either, it was released in EA so bugs were expected but Cyberpunk got rushed by players and CDPR didn't have the time to fix it proper.
I think it's because their game is supposed to be a full product which most certainly isn't so they will be in a rush to fix it whereas BL is in early acces so they can have more time
The bugs aren´t even my main problem with Cyberpunk, but all the open world / rpg stuff which was advertised just isn´t there.
Your three background stories are 15-25min "gameplay" which all lead to the same montage and then it doesn´t even matter anymore at all.
Sure you can say stuff like:
"I know this because I was a (streetkid / nomad/ corpo)" here and then, but it doesn´t change anything
And all conversations and "decisions" are like:
a) yes
b) yes but mad
c) no but actually yes
They just ****ed it up.
It has a good story and it can look quite good, the "action" gameplay is mediocre and that´s all it has to offer. CDPR should be ashamed.
Also the community just went mad because there is no barber or any option to change your appearance after you started the game, so Bannerlord easily wins! But of course you can choose from 4 different **** options, which doesn´t matter anyway, it´s just there for the memes. Which would be ok if the rest of the game would be also there...

It´s worse than like every other RPG because it isn´t a RPG in any way. Having a skilltree doesn´t make a game a RPG in my opinion. Even Bannerlord in it´s current state is more RPG than Cyberpunk.
Also Cyberpunk offers the same interaction in the city as Bannerlord does in settlements, none!
It´s a linear action adventure with side quests. Would be fine for me if they just had advertised it as what it is and not what they dreamed of 5 years ago...
I certainly agree with you, these modern RPGs hurt my soul. "It has loot and skill trees in it! And while it´s true that they have a open world it´s still useless. There is NOTHING you can do in this open world. The only interaction in this open world is the ability to buy food/drinks from vending machines.
There are thousands of food stands but what happens if you talk to the NPC behind them? He says "**** off" in different ways, no interaction at all. Not even this is possible in their open world.
It´s just a bad joke. It´s like saying that Counter Strike maps also are open worlds. You can freely move on the map and can even interact with the hostages, they´ll follow/unfollow you, that´s also more than Cyberpunk offers.
If you attack any NPC the police will just SPAWN directly behind you (even if you´re in a dead end), every damn time. If you run like 300meters they disappear. They can´t drive cars. The NPCs also can´t really drive, if you stay in front of any car they will just wait until you move forever. They won´t honk or try to reverse or change lanes, they´ll just wait. The world is so damn dead without any non scripted NPC interaction.
The scripted ones are also a bad joke. Like the police is trying to get into someones appartment. They knock on the door and shout and so on. Of course you can´t really interact with this scene and when the script is done they´ll just stand forever in front of that door until you leave the area. They won´t enter, the guy from the apparment won´t come out, just nothing happens.
If you turn fast in 360 degree cycles cars/npcs will just despawn and new ones will spawn within your vision.
In it´s current state I would rate it 5/10 because of all those technical issues, crashes and glitches. (I´m a nvidia 3800, ryzen 3800xt and 32 gb DDR 4 ram PC, so it´s not my hardware I guess).
Without those technical issues I would rate it 7/10, it´s a mediocre action adventure (gameplay) with a good a story.
From a open world RPG point of view I would say 3/10 (without technical issues). Hell....GTA San Andreas had a better open world, I can´t think of any open world game with a worse open world to be honest. Even Watch Dogs had a better open world.

There is actually no driving AI all the cars on the streets are either scripted due to to story or have only one path and then disappear
and they hyped the game this much lol...
We know BL got scrapped so say 4 years of development, and CB got announced in 2013-ish right? Yes, BL had one more year but at least it got released in EA and it was known there will be bugs. But still, we can't know for certain how the development for this one went.
Yes, I may sound like a fanboy for BL here but i still acknowledge that it is not perfect in itself.
