Resolved Assulting Oristacarys Castle Causes Crash on loading screen

Whenever I launch an assault against Oristacarys Castle the game crashes during the loading screen. Tried 4 time now. I have already uploaded a save files for this.

Hi, yes, I will do that when I get around to it, it was my intention to do that for my reply but I decided to test something which I hope the result of which will help.

Originally I had built 4 Trebs and destroyed both walls before beginning the assault. The result was the crash during the loading screen. Next I tried moving all the Trebs to the rear before leading the assault, again it crashed.

Today I reloaded an older save from before I besieged the settlement. Instead of building the Trebs I just built a ram and 2 towers, this time no crash and the battle loaded up ok.

As I have saved just before assaulting I will again try destroying the wall to see if the destroyed walls are the problem.

I am aware that on a previous version of the game (1.5.1 i think) that there was an issue with the destroyable walls of that castle. The health bar would show up away from the castle to the side of it on the campaign map.

I can confirm that destroying the walls causes the crash. I have linked this post in with the crash report.
 
I have been informed that this issue is fixed on our development branch and the fix will be implemented with the upcoming patches. Thanks for reporting!
