as ruler, why I can't grant fiefs to one of my clan

how come as ruler, you can't grant fiefs to one of your clans? ??
I lead the army and conquer the city, but I can't give to my clans, bec it blong to me....

very disappointed .......

There's a small delay before the election.

All the cities and castles you own belong to your clan already. If you die from old age, someone else in your clan takes over, generally your kids.

Individual people do not own land property in this game, all land property is owned by the clan and controlled by the clan leader. If you want to make a clan member a governor of that castle or town, you can do that.

You mean using clan members to create new lords with their own clans?

I though they added giving fiefs to 1.5.6? Or this about 1.5.5? I haven't got to the ruler part yet but I can see i can give up fiefs as a vassal (without leaving faction). I though the OP might be talking about the election not poping up right after taking a fief though, since they said they took a town.

yeah, the new conquor castle or city can have election and grant to vassels.
BUT , I have 4 cities and 1 castle when I declare indenpence, I can't give out those to my vassels

well I thought I am the king, I should be able to do whatever I want, why do I even have "election"?? can I even rig the election? lol

I haven't made a kingdom yet in 1.5.6, are you on 1.5.6 and do you have the option to give up a fief and have an election?

I am still on 1.5.5, I really don't like the election system
you can't have an option to said, "hold on, I want to wait", because you want to give this castle for the next lord or just keep to yourself
you have to make decision among those three lords
