Resolved Arzagos Dragon Banner not given after bandit fight

It looks like a lot of other people are having this bug too, but I don't think anyone has posted it here yet. After getting the mission from Arzagos to get the piece of the banner from the bandits, I completed the fight at the bandit hideout, but did not get the banner piece, and the hideout disappeared making the banner piece impossible to get, thus preventing me from continuing with the quest line.

I may have figure out part of the issue, there is a bandit camp in the same location as the one with the banner prior to taking the quest. That camp has to be destroyed prior to taking the quest for it to continue the way it should

Having this same issue. Thought I had an earlier save to revert to to test your theory about camps already existing in those locations and unfortunately I do not...

So, done with the game for now and waiting for some kind of hotfix/work around. Iv spent the whole day playing to get to this point I'm not just gonna restart.

I had to start over too, but by enabling cheats I was able to teleport across the map to meet nobles, finished that quest in 30min

I've had the same problem. When I raided this camp there were not bandits before boss, it was almost immediately boss fight. This can be part of a problem too.

As I wrote in another thread; I might have found a possible fix by downloading the developer console (https://www.nexusmods.com/mountandblade2bannerlord/mods/4?tab=description), and then doing "storymode.advance_to_kingdom_quests 1". Doesn't remove the old quest, but I think it doesn't matter. Haven't tried to form a kingdom yet, if you try feel free to reply whether it worked!

Doesn't work because "cheat mode is disabled". I didn't find how to enable it

Go to ...\Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Configs, open engine_config.txt, and change the line "cheat_mode = 0" to "cheat_mode = 1", save, start the game and voilà.

Same here, I destroyed the camp for the woman and got a piece, but for the man it did not give me one and the camp disappeared can't complete quest.

The bandit camp for Arzagos disappeared for me before I could even attempt it (I couldn't challenge it right away as it had some 30 units, way too many for me)

Hello, sorry for the late reply. We have fixed a considerable amount of the problems we have encountered so far and improved the game performance with the multiple patches we have released. Please make sure that your game, your drivers, and OS are up to date and the game has necessary permissions over your security software. Please let us know if the problem persists after completing these steps and verifying the integrity of the game files through Steam.
