This weekend I was playng heavily, enjoying myself quite a bit!
Got lost in the medieval world.

Then, something happened that was a huge bummer.

I was besieging Curaw, by myself.
There was approx 350 solders, and 7 or 8 Boyars in Curaw.
During the siege, another Boyar came up from behind and attached me.
The people inside Curaw joined his side in an attempt to break the siege.

I was facing a force of about 400 units with my 110 units.

I've had these odds several times.
And on the flat, snowy plains, my cavalry heavy army reigns supreme.

After 5 long fights, I won over the 400 number force.
Downing about 8 or 9 Boyars at the same time, including the King who was in Curaw.

I thought... well awesome, now Curaw will be empty, or at least all the veteran units dead.

Look at Curaw.
Nope.

Still 355ish strong.

I don't know what that crap is about, but its not cool.
Killed my buzz, and I had to return home to Uxhal to recover.

Was this a bug... is it intentional?

I'm pretty sure that 355 is the garrison. They did not participate in the battle, the Boyar's combined force of 400 did.

Buddy, the number next to the town is the towns garrison, not the total. That means your army of 100 would've gone against 800 troops, and since you're heavy Calvary your would've been destroyed.
