Armor modifications

Yes, i know this could go under new armor types, but since it is a suggestion regarding graphical appearance of armor that happens to create new types of armor, i felt that it may deserve its own topic. If not, i apologize.

1) For gauntlets and certain helmets, could the armor texture overlap other armors? For example, rather than being just gloves, could there be leather gauntlets that cover some of the arms? This would allow more types of gloves, (such as bracers or actual gauntlets) as well as broadening the types of armor they can be worn with (I for one will not equip mail gloves on anything but heraldric armor because it looks ridiculous, and in game that strives for realism, such looks are important. A helmet type that would benefit would be the hoods or the coif, which, if equipped with anything but heraldric or hauberk looks silly as well. I am simply asking for the entire coif to be displayed, which would cover the neck and parts of the shoulder. I dont know if this is possible, but it would be a nice graphical touch (and therefore is low on the priority list).

2) (cutting and pasting from another post of mine, since this is a more relevant topic) Could the black helmet be changed? Having it look like the italian barbute seems really odd to me, given that the black armor appears to be germanic-style gothic harness. A helm that protects the whole face would make more sense to me. Maybe like this http://www.tyrrell-armouries.com/helmets/gothic_sallet2.html or

3) Any other suggestions that arent ideas for new armors?

I think the black helmet is fine. Perhaps the Black Hunters & Knights went down to italy for a picnic and picked up the newest style of helmet.

They're trendy folks.
