So after fighting in a lot of tournaments I discovered that armor seems to have no defense against cutting and piercing weapons. I mean my sword seems to do just as much cutting damage against plate armor as it does against no armor. I don't know if this is just a tournament affect yet, or it happens during battles also, but at this point i think that it does. It kind of makes plate armor useless since it seems to not add any defense against cutting damage.
