Armies following everyone until disband

I don't remember this in previous versions but I've been noticing in 1.0.3 and 1.1.0 that AI armies tend to be bogged down severely by little lords with 20 soldiers running around until cohesion breaks them apart never actually doing anything. I don't know if this is intended, for some reason, so making this post in suggestions and not bugs. This can happen anytime where the AI army is thinking what to do or going to a place to siege or defend. More common to happen near a last town in the hands of a enemy faction where all lords are gathering soldiers in one or two villages.
Is it possible to make it so AI armies in the world map ignore enemy individual parties, with the exception of already engaged parties and other AI armies?
