We all have thought about a direct Arena tournament Single player rules Multiplayer people and no A.I. other than tourney director.
If you are in the fight you would spawn in the field and if you were not in the fight you would be stuck in the stands watching?
A game would start 3 -2-1 Bang you're in!
It could be a 10-12 man Game and everyone would spawn in a bracket with single elimination or double?
A better twist might be you spawn in with whatever weapons the game decides just like single player.
The cost to enter would be a new game mode. 10Coins?
You gain Coins with XP and LVLs?
Another option.
Make Multiplayer Free? Single player is 50$ but micro transactions are the way to pay and scale into the future on the fornite and league of legends scale.

you can have a small community for single player and 50 bucks.
or the biggest on espn with free with micros changing ONLY ONLINE things that are visual and don't effect gameplay. either way im fine just think Tournament mode is an amazing idea.
if they are able to keep a good balance and keep it cosmetics only. The problem with tournament style stuff is that you would need to wait alot, or join another one. Then you cant rematch people etc.
Yea, I mean I guess it's fine they ripped out the customization I had in warband for BL. I can just pay more for a banner. Got to pay a few more dollars for that toggle helmet on/off, and a couple bucks to change my armor color. Maybe if I'm lucky they'll sell me fake currency so I can spend it to gamble on the chance I get something randomly good, because it's not gambling! **** that ****. How long before they decide that mods are cutting in on their customization profit and they nix that for a few more dollars in their pocket. The game's still got work to be done before it's finished, but it sure as hell doesn't need microtransactions.
I've seen tournaments like that run on WB for fun, it'd be nice if the game had a system to set things like that up quickly, so that part of the idea is interesting. You wouldn't even need people in the stands watching, you could just have all the fights take place at the same time so there is less dead time between when people are playing.

So you like Arena tournament just keep the game expensive so most people cant afford it because you are afraid the Devs will get greedy and micro us out of life. got it! Thanks for the input!

Ahh the waiting part. Gotcha! Thats an easy fix!
All you do is have them all fight at once!?
Okay lets try this!
Maybe set 3-5 fenced areas with 1v1 or 2v2 + round resets for winnings moving on.
Stage the fenced areas within the arena itself for a nice tournament feeling.
If you lose you get kicked and can watch from the stands!! Maybe at some point add throwing cabbage or bread? lulz?
or leave.
If you win you progress to the next caged area with the other winnng bracket.
Winner gets whatever the entry fee was add a badge for it call it an Esport. xD
