well no i am not using mods since no modules yet like a clash of kings or floris unless i'm wrong

Obviously Yes! needed to be playable.

- HideoutBattleMaxTroops - allows more than 8 soldiers into bandit camps
- NoHoudini - Prisoners don't vanish as quick
- BanditMilitias - Bandit groups join up - buggy
- BannerPeasants - for banners - buggy
- ExitSettlement - easy exit settlement
- PartyAIOverhaul&Commands - more options with conversations
- SettlementRename - Rename your castle / City - Buggy
- Pumped up kicks 1066AD - essential

Mods still needed ..

- Forts - essential
- Workshop storage - Like in VC, where businesses have storage rooms.
- Populations / Politics / Agents etc
- VC
- LOTR
- Romulus Rome
- Carts / wagons - for stash, which can be stolen if not protected
... far more ..
.

No. It ruins the fun of exploiting and breaking the game.
Can't control vassals? Fine I won't use any.
No perks? Don't need em.
Ruined economy? My money just piles up no matter how many warhorses I buy. Millions in the pocket and 15K+ a day
AI snowballing... not if I snowball them first!....... Can we change it to steamrolling or bulldozing.....
My single Clan's power rating is higher then any faction.
Not even killing them this time, making friends like no tomorrow.

I'm interested in knowing this statistic

I don't want to be dependant on mods to be able to enjoy a game. I use mods when I did everything there is in a game and I had the experience, which the developers intended me to have. So as you can imagine. I don't play Bannerlords singleplayer, since it is unplayable for me at this point. I hope the next few patches bring some significant improvements..

Not used mods, mostly just been doing an early game playthrough to look for bugs when a patch is released, haven't done much in the last 3 weeks as a result. Would use mods if devs could give us a better (any vague) ETA - i..e if an update is weeks away then its worth installing a few mods and starting a playthrough, if it's "this week" then I don't want to just be left with broken savegames as with RL commitments it takes weeks for me to play through a whole campaign.

Meanwhile i am happy enough patiently waiting for the most part.

Nope, not using any. The game is barebones anyway, and a few minor fixes are not going to fix that. Plus I want to actually playtest and send some useful reports instead of "hurr durr my modded mess crashes every 5 seconds must be devs fault".

there is no point in using mods at this stage. sure, one can do it if he wants to "play", but at this stage it seems more important to me to have feedback on the vanilla version ...

I do both. When a new update comes out I play vanilla for about a week. I can then remove mods that are no longer needed when I go back to playing modded.

Edit: This also gives modders a chance to update their mods as I play on beta version.

I do not. I had used a mod to allow me to paste a custom banner, but I decided that I didn't care after all.

I will eventually after the game is finished, but I enjoy experiencing the game as in evolves.

No mods, I don't see the point in EA if we are truly trying to work the bugs out. However I do have the Dev Console which I don't count as a mod.

Personally can’t even imagine playing that game at this stage without mods. It was funny for 200 hours but lets dont overdo.

Now Im playing everyday only because of mods. Using:

- Detailed Character Creation
- Banner Paster
- Banner Peasant 10M
- Cheering reloaded
- Diplomacy Fixes
- Dead shot
- Allegiance Overhaul
- Hideout Party Limit Removed 50
- Fast Dialogues
- Improved Garrisons
- MC Mentoring Mod
- Smith Forever
- Sound the Alarm
- Fighting together relationship
- Key’s Royal Armoury
- Player Execute Edit
- VARTS Trade Guild

Playing on 1.4.2, 0 crashes, 0 errors, much more fun and the only way for keeping players „500hours+” imo. But yeah, was skeptical too, fortunately tried the first one, then the second and stayed with them. Just discovered how easily they fix all annoyin bugs and improve my playthrough. Think most of Warband players are modding this part too.

Cheers

I use a bunch of mods, but I don't see what kind of data you'll be able to glean from a poll like this. Forum users are going to be a very small minority of the total playerbase, but also the ones most likely to be using mods, so the results will be very skewed towards mod users. I bet the majority of players won't even know that mods exist.

Hold on a second... Are you playing with Player Execution edit on 1.4.2? But wait, there's no version of this mod for 1.4.2

It works though. Many mods which don't have a version for the latest beta branch will still work, unless the area that the mod affects has been changed in the beta branch.
