Honestly, I thought that Sacred was one of the only worth-a-damn Diablo clones back a long while ago, and just today I came across Sacred 2's release date, which is September 2008.
Which is less than a week until September is over. I just got into a much better mood.
I assume that's the european version of dates, so November? I looked on gamespot this morning and it said September, but maybe Gamespot's proven to be a very terrible source of any information once again.
I'd like to add that I am playing an Inquisitor with all my roleplaying abilities when it comes out.
UK and Europe release for all formats. Koch have stated they may end up pushing the console release back in the US which may make for a slight delay, but it's unclear if this will affect the PC version.
I'd have anticipated much for Sacred 2 if it was less digit-based and more skill-based. And I do not expect it to have engrossing storyline like that of KotOR either.
An Eddings fan as well as a Sacred one. Fine taste, sir.
Yeah, I'm quite looking forward to it, I quite enjoyed Sacred 'til I got bored of it, Sacred 2 looks like it'll be able to hold my attention the whole way through.
They're getting rid of the Christmas bonus stuff next patch, so if you haven't been to the Island now's a good time to go. Determined to get a Christmas set for my Temple guardian, but the island is bloody difficult. Admittedly, part of that is because I focused my main weapons on poison and life stealing, so I'm stuck using a weaker club for fire damage (even though it's a unique) combined with a burning embers/flamethrower/archimedes beam combo. Boss fights are still a bit tricky though.
