I never understood how "everything happens for a reason" and "God has a plan for all" but this logic doesn't apply to abortion or atheism or healthcare or whatever a stereotypical Christian radical dislikes. Because somehow you can deviate from omnipotent influence.

On the subject of the prepubescent him, I think I might be able to tolerate him in real life so long as he isn't too much of a self-obsessed **** (and evidence suggests that he totally is). But his music is a nightmare, I'd rather listen to screeching children. I would rather have that little **** Tidus yelling his stupid little sound he makes in my ear for 3 hours, than hear a single one of his songs. Mostly because I'd hear the same screeching coming from little girls in the vicinity anyway.

He's just a fad. I was a teenager during the 90's and oh boy, the Backstreet Boys were EVERYWHERE and so were their clone bands. My classmates, cousins and friends just wouldn't shut up about these boybands and how they were the second coming of christ and had the highest level of musicianship mankind could ever achieve. It looked like it would never end, but it did.

Yeah of course they still got fans, some as "devout" as the ones you mention, but it's nowhere near of what it was in the mid to late 90's. Heck, even 80's hair metal bands still got a following that enable them to leave their regular jobs and tour for a season for some extra money.

EDIT: Other examples are the Spice Girls and Britney Spears. The Spice Girls tried to stay even when the fad had vanished and it got them nowhere. Meh. I heard one of his songs and its the usaul American/ European garbage you hear from the mainstream pile of **** media the Western world has. Im not particualry bashing the west here on purpose, as there is plenty of bad, utter peices of **** over in the "East" as well. Eitheir way though it's not real music.
As for his personal life and actual personality, he's a typical spoiled brat who has been turned into a narcissistic moron who has been shown way too many, YOUR DREAMS CAN COME TRUE bull**** spin offs from (insert trashy celeberity here.)
The thing is, I only heard him once. That was because the Radio host here wanted to play a a few artists from NA and see how we liked them. We had a phone line to give a rating for a song, 3 ratings.
