Are there any official words on the sales numbers?

Has anyone seen any reliable information regarding how many copies the game sold so far?

Only thing I could find was steamspy.com saying its between 5M - 10M, which is vague and pretty unreliable.

And do you think TW will announce the numbers anytime soon?

I honestly think it is actually 5+ Million

According to the calculations one can do with the ratio of reviews/sales on steam that is roughly right i would suppose.
Its a complicated thing with many variables, but you can roughly say 30-150 sales for 1 review with a median number of 70-90ish.
I think 5-8 million sold copies are quite realistic.

they sold at least 3 copies i can tell you that for free

I can confirm 4 then !

and i saw that dude on youtube...

Who gives a fu,ck?

No clue why you ****ing post in the thread if you're not interested in it.
Took the wrong crossroads to your steam forum?

For players who are into M&B since many years its at least nice to see that Taleworlds future and therefore the future of Bannerlord
is save for years to come.

I expect enough copies have already been sold to make them financially secure. EArly access sales should give them the ability and incentive to keep improving the game before release in a year or two. The number of active users will ensure continued support for many years.

This is why we care. For company like TW I trust that mo’ money means mo’ content.

Once game releases they unemploy like two thirds of the team. I wonder if its the same situation here.

The game hasn't released. It's Early Access. Taleworlds has a much different view on that than what the rest of the gaming industry has shown us.

This is just a blind guess from me but I guess.... around 5-10mill

I know they made a big opening because i couldn't use steam store for a few hours. But at least 5 million? woah. Is it reliable source?

This entire thread is speculation but what i have found to be semi accurate in the past was this:
1: Take a median average of peak concurrent users during first couple weeks of release.
2: Multiply that figure by 10
3: Sit back and take pride in your pseudo-scientific statistics.

So my guess is ~2 million sales in the first 2 weeks.
