Are the post counts supposed to be off?

I've been a member here a long time but I've only started actively posting on these forums recently.  Any idea why my post count is at 8 (now 9) when you can go to all posts by me and see 15 (now 16) different posts?  Is there something I'm missing?  Not really important, was just wondering.

Not really. They mean nothing.

I've, essentially, spammed my way to master knight in less than half a year.

If you want to know how experienced someone is just think back on how many credible posts you've seen that the person made.
