Are the customizable banners are going to be a thing ?

I was wondering if someone (devs maybe) know about the option to have a customized banner (the circle above our head in MP).

Can you tell if this will be a thing ? And maybe when ?

I hope not, because it killes immersiveness of massive battles IMO
Im not that aganist symbol variety on shields tho, these fishes are already getting old lol
Tho i would like fraction-themed symbols more (two headed eagle for empire, celtic swastika for battania, etc)
