Neither. People are born without knowledge or pre-conceived ideas. Good and evil are subjective concepts that do not exist outside of humanity.

About the question, here comes the ultimate answer:

Humans are naturally open to manipulation. Because they have free will. Thus, the more a human trusts, likes, wants, etc... someone or something, the more like him/her/it the human will become.
