Are banners still not in the game???

Bloc didn't say anywhere that the banners won't be added, etc. Banners will be added, they will add what is in the future plans, and they will probably sprinkle one or two more things, but that's it.

It's obvious that they spend so much time on simple things, even on the Claimant quest or stuff like those. And that's the reason of bloc thinks this.

Well, I was not gonna bring this to forums but since you opened a thread about the video.
This comment made by Bloc in the comment section of the video you shared. Here is the translation of the part with the red boxes.

"The fact that nothing is added to the game is because the game entered the period called feature freeze months ago and the resources were transferred to other projects. One hundred percent of the Taleworlds team are not dealing with Bannerlord, and the number of people working on Bannerlord is seriously low. It would be naive to expect a big feature in future updates. Of course, what I mean by big feature are things like deep diplomacy and intrigues that aren't cheesy like a barber."

This is google translation version of the part with red boxes. I checked the meaning and it is pretty accurate so I will not translate it myself.

like the source of the comment comes from this video video link and the culture-specific banners we use in this video probably came with 1.7.2

(but they are not added properly yet.) I am saying that because we cant mask them properly and for example.

bloc things that they will add these banners to the campaign map. So they will be part of the banner update (probably). (Also because of the naming of the assets) They will probably look like this (photo from old blocs mod)

Bloc is as in the dark as you or I. None of us know when the next parch comes or really what is in it, which is a problem. But to just go off of what Bloc says, who already doesn’t seem to like TW, as an explanation isn’t a great idea.

Those banners look good but I hope they aren't just gonna be floating like that in battle.

Don't be so sure

Giving banners to the hand of the agent is not a problem. Even bloc did it in closed beta, also I found an example video of it from 2020

I am not sure how banners work inside of age of bannerlords atm, because i don't have the latest build, Bloc probably referenced this Taleworlds example while making it on that video.

or maybe mix in both like in this one.

Also, I want to point out. I can understand why they removed banners from that video but there is 0 reason to do so for spears with flags. We see a nice example of Taleworlds stupidity.

Other companies have developed a complete game while we are waiting for banners, they better be the best banners the video game world has ever seen.

We will see.

It's not true. Noone was shifted away from Bannerlord afaik.
Telling "Noone" is a big statement when your company recruits people for an unannounced sci-fi game.
We need a time reference for this statement. like "since when". Because you could compere taleworlds' bannerlord team from yesterday and today. I know you like to fool around with people here with basic statements.

I also know you would say "There may be a new man being hired, I said, as far as I know, there are no shifts"

So let me ask this one.
What percentage of Taleworlds employees work on Bannerlord atm. (Approximately)

I'd guess this meant more "Taleworlds isn't using 100% of it devs/workforce on Bannerlord." The way google put it sounds like he's saying nobody is working on bannerlord.
Yep, this is more proper for "One hundred percent of the Taleworlds team are not dealing with Bannerlord" part. But this " the number of people working on Bannerlord is seriously low" and all of other parts is very accurate translation.

Duh confirms that there are no Major shifts in TW for another project. What else do you want, HR recruitment documents and Interview videos? It is funny to try getting this much information from a gaming company. Duh answered your questions with his/her knowledge, if you do not want to believe than ok, I guess.

Well duh's clarification leaves only one reason for the speed of recent development being that of a snail with breathing problems:

The console versions.

While all of the Bloc's explanation perfectly fits what happened for the last one year of EA period. Especially feature freeze part.

Some people here even is happy to hear that there could be a diplomacy dlc in the future while these kind of basic things expected to be in the base game. This just baffles me.

Understandable, but I find Duh's clarification more believable.

Which apparently is one of the reasons we still don't have our banners in game.
This one works with the latest version. With both visuals and TROOP MORALE EFFECTS. Made by just one guy. Wasn't so hard it seems.

But they are coming, no stress... just a question of time...
Sure thing, champ. We've been waiting for 12 years already. Another 3-5 years of "active development" is nothing really. I am sure we'll get our banners by 2025.

Well, it was pretty much obvious. Show's over, boys. Steam sales matter not. Consoles are where all the money is!

I'm not sure what you are trying to do here...
Oooh I see... my bad... you think I'm sorta "white knight" and then you felt obliged to show me that modders can do better than TW devs blablabla...
Well I have a scoop for you... No base game = no mods.

I feel sorry that you lost 12 years of your life obsessively waiting for the release of Bannerlord.
And I agree with you, +3-5 years seem even more wasteful...

At the end it doesn´t matter what the reason is for this slow / non progress......it´s the result that matters and the results sucks since months.

I still bet on working on project Space and Lasers and the console port like:

25% Bannerlord PC
50% Console Port
25% Space and Lasers

Bloc really dislikes TaleWorlds. He basically mods the game to show "how easy it is" to add useful stuff and how bad TaleWorlds is for not doing it. He is not exactly an unbiased source when it comes to information on TaleWorlds' current internal structure.
