Archery when not on horseback.

USually in tournments when i turn the mouse my bow dont turns. my english isnt very good . Try you will see.

I think you need good horse archery skill! Also theres a blind spot where you cant shot from horseback...

So best thing is to dismount and kill em on foot. (If they approach to near, load your bow, wait till they want to make a blow and give them a headshot! )

You can "reload" your bow after you hit them and then if they try to attack you again you can shoot them again.
Also if you put some skill into power draw they more likely will die.

If you miss one time, they will slaughter you of course...

Run backwards while drawing your bow. Stop long enough to release and start running+drawing again. Usually when you stop they try for a swing and drop their shield. Even if you don't kill them sometimes they'll stop for a second giving you a little more room.

Sometimes it's funnier when they come running at you with an arrow sticking out of thier heads.

It's unfortunate, but it happens. As stated, add to your power draw to do more damage.
