I think it's really to late for rematch (even though it's still possible and highly requested), but lets conclude positive and negative consequences of this decision.
- The whole div A balance is ruined
- Stronger team (according to real DM-RM results) takes worse position in tournament
- Beast admins are leaving
- BEAST lost credibility amongst competitive community
- Players think of leaving BEAST next season/organising their own tournaments instead
- RM reputation dropped to hell
- A week of toxic dramas in discords
+ RM players now are a bit happier
I think that this admins decision corresponded the rules, but since most of players (as Hairless just proved with screens in his main post) think it's absurd, this decision is also illegitimate, which, considering the size of community, is way more important than sticking to the rules
Also I want to point out that amongst all admins, german voted against the rules
All in all, it was just a disastrous management decision

Finals without either rm or dm are just fine. Finals without the strongest teams are not. HINQ has been preparing for 6 months for this beast and you lost to us.
Don't know why you guys are defensive about the rematch idea. The dot was clearly a significant advantage, all the cheaters banned, DM so much weaker without them RM could easily win this time.
Lets rematch HINQ vs RM boys i had internet/taleworlds problems and it's better to face best roster against best since its ruining the balance in div a.
If you want my "serious" answer:

4->It's just too late anyway. We did match with HINQ and tomorrow we are doing match with VW. For RM 5 week is over.

yeah, sir argentum names your 6 months preparations as "RM LADDERFIXING" but as u can see i didnt say anything about rematch, all i say is we really tried, there is no ladderfixing and losing on purpose, after all, this is an insult for your efforts and ours aswell from argentum, so hold on

For using the dot a warning would have worked, a full on suspension is harsh but alright it was against the rules. Giving the suspension and a default is extravagant and very harsh. Basically a double punishment. Either default or suspend, not both for a crime that wasn't all that bad to begin with.
As the admins keep saying all the time, use some common sense guys it's just a game not a murder crime.

To add my 10 cents even though gotha and I speak as one, I think that the varadin ban should be reversed to one match and the match should have been counted as it was played.
To punish the whole team and destroy the scoreboard is over the top even though it wasnt the best idea for varadin to stream the dot.
Anyone saying that varadin needs the dot to gain an advantage is delusional.

RM wasnt punished when they admitted to score fixing in BEAST 1, so why take such hard measures now.

Well this is not discord here is forum and you are just filling topic with the same message without your opinion. So this is considered as spamming and against the rules.

As ex administrator and notorious rebel to everything, I want to contribute to this discussion, even though I'm such a biased debil DM idiot ofc I will have to back up my old buddy hairless... Right...??? Right???????
The §2 is not broad, but actually quite precise in what is going to happen if infringed, however the actual consequences may be considered as broad or too brutal/crude if administered, especially due to it's universal approach on punishment and defaulting rounds. Default Rounds always caused ire and annoyance because they are won without actual winning on the battlefield. While I do not think any leniency should even be considered for people using aimbot, autoblock or wallhacks, the community maybe should discuss if modifying health bars or crosshairs are actually considered an advantage or should be considered legal in the future. However, until such a discussion actually produces a result, using any of these from now on equally dumb and invites for punishment!
Tournament Administration is in the end the deciding factor, if they say "Yes, we're going to ban you for this" and you're still thinking right now installing the modification is smart, you shouldn't cry about it when they dish out punishment for it, especially after the line has been established.
Pissing off admins appears to be a sport by some and I strongly refute this idiocy since this duty is done in their free time and being a good administrator requires you to act as grown up if people go child mode on you. I do not agree on the universal hate on the Administrators as administrating a tournament of such scope and size can be a liability and demanding in the time spent versus the merit you get out of it.
I think in the past in this community too much stuff has been going unpunished (for example the abuse of the cav glitch in BEAST 3 finals and BDC I) that there's a sentiment of wild west regarding abusing stuff which is obviously not working as intended or open to modification due to the game being early access o rnot as protected in the multiplayer as it could be.
I certainly did not agree with the cav glitch reasoning at all that "one could press it by accident", yeah, the Div A cavs certainly pressed that button 237x by accident in BEAST 3 and BDC, right? Right??
PS @ RM: I've seen Shema using the dot on YouTube. You certainly cannot claim a moral high ground anymore at all regarding this.
What I found in my research when the crosshair issues was initially brought up and Destiny Masters filed their appeal is that Crosshairs are not universally accepted in every game, there are games which have it legalized to modify within a certain frame and scope (Counter Strike et al.) and there are actually games who prohibit such modifications (infact Rainbow Six Siege, Fort Trash and more for different purposes and reasonings). Therefore open discussion by the community would be the most sensible solution to this problem at hand.
