Anyway to cheat for items?

I lost 2 of my champion horses I got from my adventures. It was after several battles where my horses got eventually killed in battle. I didn't know that having them killed too much will really kill em for good.

There's no way to cheat items with mods ("champion", "lordly", etc.) right now. It's possible to make a cheat script for it but that's a lot of work and most people aren't willing to put that in (because you'll have to make the script work for all items you want to get mods for), and if it's just for one item then it would be easier to just cheat with money and teleporting around the map until you find a store selling a champion horse.

Horse's death seems random. I once got my horse killed on its first ride. I reloaded my game right after because it felt bad. <_< It's either it gets crippled (leaving it Lame for a while), dies or just gets knocked out in combat.

I haven't got my horse killed yet  You can use cheat menu to get new. However, as Hanakoganei said, you can get only plain items there.

I'm not sure if it's a bug but whenever my horse dies, I tend do mount another one I find nearby. My horse gets replaced at the end of the battle by the horse I've ridden and disappears forever..

Well.. you can always use morgh's.. find the horse you want.. give it the merchandise flag, give it only the attribute you want (champion i guess), give it a high abundance value (200 should be enough) and you should find it in pretty every town.. probably without attribute a couple of times but with champion sooner or later.

Sure, not fond of tricks like those.. but that should help
But as stated, plain cheat mode should be easier (never done myself though)
