Anyone Having Fun Mid Game

Not a sarcastic question -im actually really enjoying just roving around, trying to make money and sometimes doing small quest. Kinda irked that nothing is threatening on the map for my 40 size army so thinking maybe its time to join a lord and get in some field battles. Has this route been fufilling for others or are you starting your own Kingdom?

I'm still derping around buying cargos from peasants and selling them at a massive markup at other cities. For me that's still fun, at least so far.

I joined the king of sturgia, once you join a kingdom it really opens your options for "renown" and "influence"

N key is your friend for the encyclopedia, they made traits and stories for most of the characters in the game, its pretty cool

Now we just need more banner colors, like a dark purple

Jea I'm enjoying it too. Taking my time, building my economical power, slowly leveling my 90-ish army against looters. I'll see what happens.

Fun thing is thanks to the savegame corruption, I tried like 4 different directions with my last working savegame. It's fun trying stuff out.

i joined the khazuits, it definetly adds to the fun being part of a faction. I do enjoy being part of these big armies doing 1000+men battles which are epic even when your on the losing side. But on the other hand campaign map AI is EXTREMELY dumb. khan and other lords seem to just go around choosing battles without any strategiv thought. Conquering distant cities seperated from the faction mainland and then loosing them few days after and then trying to recapture them...
If we do get runed down by the southern empire ill definetly try and create my own kingdom but if my faction manages to hold on perhaps untill the devs patch up and balance the game than ill surely stay within the faction and try to rise up politically.

Basically did exactly this, though I unbound the Encyclopedia from N and put it on Q.

I'd consider taking a look at them, I've been using the BannerEditor Enhancer myself.

Im kinda frustrated because I've given a banner to vlandia, they are at peace with everyone, and the only way to make them go to war to progress the story is to take a -300 influence penalty by raiding one of the empire faction villages , as you can't make them go to war....even though you just gave him a banner and he agreed to help destroy the empire? Why would he not declare war on one of the empire factions?
Vlandia is at peace with literally everyone so...its pretty boring

I'm already at the endgame with only 2 factions on the map. My own created faction, and the southern empire which owns 80% of the map. My wife just recently got pregnant and my char just turned 36. Game ends like 50 years too early.

I think they have been trying to fix the snowballing problem. I haven't had that yet in my game luckily

I'm loving executing the entire vlandian Royal family at the moment.
