Hey well im still finding that after a while my battles are slowing down real bad for no reason and im on the lattest patch. Though its happening alot rarer and i am going through alot of battles. Maybe i should just go outside for a bit instead...

I shouldn't need to :/ i run:

Q6600 @ 3.2ghz
285GTX overclocked
4gb ram overclocked

To be beat by a games graphics of many years out is just shocking lol. PLus its not all battles, its every 2/3 hours or so. Clearly nothing to do with me having settings too high.

I think there is a memory leak. I got 4GB of RAM, and normally, when I start M&B:WB I get around 2.5GB of RAM used. Once I went to see and I was using 3.5GB!!! And 2GB was on cache!

2.6GHz quad core i7
12GB RAM
nVidia GeForce GTX 285

After around an hour of intensive battles it'll slow to a crawl, which is completely inappropriate given the hardware. Exiting and restarting the game seems to clear it up though.

Are you guys increasing the Battle Size above 150?  This game is 32-bit, and you will likely start running into process memory limits if you have too many soldiers on the field at once.  It hits 1.5GB of memory usage as is.

I play at 100 people. Been wanting to up it though. 1.5gb total or 1.5gb just for the game? i thought the limit for a 32bit process was 1.3gb but i forget its been so long since i was heavily into pc building and alike.

I figured as much anyways. Ah well, its not happening that regularly for me though it does annoy me because i know my pc can handle so much more.

I hit 1.5GB on warband exe pretty regularly.  It's actually a 2GB of VAS limit for a 32-bit process on windows, but Task Manager isn't really useful to view that except as a rough estimation.

Has anyone played with making the Warband exe Large Address Aware?

I tested it a bit and with normal play I saw no memory leak. I left the game on for awhile(think it was about 20 hours) and noticed at one point the game doubled the ram it was using(the usual 1.5 to 3GB). My system had some to spare so it really didn't affect performance but those not using at least 6GB of ram would likely notice this if the problem occurred earlier in the game... unless people actually play for 20 hours?
