Anyone else having problem with companions skills going to high?

I was playing my campaign as usuall, when I noticed that my troops aren't dying in battle, they get wounded but not die so I decided to check my Surgeon to see what's going on, and his Medicine skill level are up to 1023, this is bothering me, there is any fix to it?

holy hell, its hard enough to get your own skills that high. how in the world did you manage to do this accidentally?

but uh, if you actually want to lower it, for some reason, you're gunna have to get the character import and export mod. otherwise you're SoL

Did that, but as soon as I start moving throught the map the skill goes high again.
The solution that i found was to export,set to medice down again and remove the companion of the Surgeon role, anyone in that role even the main character will be affected by this bug. (not playing it in beta)

your file must have just gotten screwed up with the recent patch its all i can think of if it reverted after fixing it
