any version crashes:

I can't run any programs before or during m&b otherwise it crashes saying it caused a fault in module unknown, and if i click on anything but the m&b icon after this message it crashes explorer.
Also, When I try to enter my unlocker, it crashes ccapp, again module unknown, but when it doesn't, it says i'm not connected to the web, even when i am. then it crashes explorer.
I tried downloading a new copy, but when i try to install it it says that the file is corrutped. Any ideas?

I got the same problem on a friend computer, but the game install worked on three other pc with the same installer, so this problem is caused by the computer himself ... It worked on my P2 1.2GhZ with a radean 5600 and it worked on an two others computer with P3 2.4GhZ and radeon 9600. the bug occurs on a p4 3.2 GhZ Nvidia Geforce 5700LE ... I don't know what's the problem ...

yes but normally the radeon card show many bugs with c++ and install ( battle for middle earth, dune emperor, empire earth 2 ... got some difficulties with radeon cards ) I've never get bugs with Gforce cards before MandB .

Ive got something like this and have always had it. I have a radeon 9600xt and Windows ME.

Once I run mount and blade no other program can run, not even mount and blade if I shut it down the first time and then try to restart it...crash. I cant even access the start button once this happens so I have to hit the button to hard power down my system.

But I can run whatever I want BEFORE starting mount and blade. Just nothing afterwards, I always restart my system after quitting.
