Alright, I'm far from my gaming PC so I have the time to make this topic. :razz:

I'm planning on downloading mods and I want to know what mods you liked and why.

I have no idea what it's called, but there's a mod for the Computer version (although I assume that's the one you own) that allows you to build your own settlement, make buildings, attract settlers, and trade with other towns/repel Raider, Mutant, Enclave, etc. attacks. I'll try to find it for you.
 
It's RTS. Real Time Settler.

Great mod, although unstable. I'd recommend if you play Settler to play with as few mods as possible.

Get the damned PDA to replace to pip-boy. If you like the pip boy, that's one thing, but I hated it.

Oh and get EVE, it has some pretty effects.
 
I found a mod which included 40k equipment...I thought it was funny, so I cruised around as an apothecary.
 
Slower item degradation was the only mod I used when I was playing, I need to get the game (borrowed it from my roommate), the GOTY edition is almost out!

I suggest adding some 40k armor, one of the cool bases (like megatown home, but way cooler)
and other little things that you think would fit nicely.

All of those mods add TONS of weapons, it seemed every person had a different weapon. The AI is much better, the game is harder and more realistic (fewer shots to kill and die) and there a lot more monsters too.
That is THE best pack of mods you can get working together. It took me like 2 hours to get everything working but it is worth it. If you go to the web page there are some other options too.
 
I would recommend the mod that re-skins the power armor.But I wont,as it re-sins it as a hello kitty armor :wink:

Quick question: Has anyone encountered a strange bug with the ripper where black boxes suddenly start appearing, leading to a full-screen blackout?
 
No, I don't think there are any mods that add more sniper rifles to the game world, but WMK lets you add a scope to hunting rifles, lever action rifles, assault rifles, SMGs, .44 magnums and all the energy weapons.
If you do a lot of sniping I'd recommend Artorps Zooming Scoped Weapons.
