Any reason why you cant delete your own threads ?

Like the title said Is it because of spamming and so you cant hide something i guess? But you can delete your own messages though

In a way, yes.

Deleting your own threads has caused many issues in the past, even us moderators rarely delete threads - we'd usually lock them.

If you want your threads reviewed for deletion, send the thread(s) to one of the moderator's in that section via a PM, with a little reason. Perfectly good threads usually won't get deleted as there's completely no need, especially if the discussion isn't at all controversial/toxic.

Deleting a thread also effectively deletes all other posts made by other users in the thread, not just your own post(s). So, we require thread deletion to be requested of moderators.
