No more division into lots for a start, complete overhaul of the careers to make them slightly more involved than hopping in a car every morning, complete overhaul of the sim creator and similar, every sim in town ageing alongside whichever family you're playing (or not if you turn it off), hundreds of new skills, tweaks, events and similar....

Eh... The Sims is only fun for making really awkward situations. One time I got some guy to marry a random girl, and then they both started cheating on each other with 2 other people. The thing is, they were both cheating on each other with the same 2 people. So they were both married, and they were both bisexual, and the two people they were cheating on were also married to each other.

Then I got tired of the second couple and put them both in a 2x2 box with a toilet and a shower.

I used to fill a room with wooden furniture and add a fireplace, then i'd wait for someone to go into the room. Then i'd delete the door and after a while the room went on fire and the people burnt to death

The ghosts all had a different colour depending on how you killed them they met their unfortunate demise. It was like pokemon in that respect, I think half my town lots had one of each colour floating around at least.

Oh, and they're a lot more interesting in 3 ...

The maid once took one of my Sims' children. Just picked it up, put it in a van and went. 
The Sims isn't always as child friendly as they would have you think.

Sims 3 actually got leaked. I got a chance to play it over at a friend's house and quite enjoyed it. Afterwards, of course, I sternly reprimanded him for illegal torrenting. Such a thing is bad.
