Didn't work but I did manage to get it but when I go to Start new Character or New Game. It tells me  about the nobility of male and female and doesn't let me choose male female or next it just says Go Back. Any thoughts?

There is Shadows in the Desert a very ancient Greek mod (okay, not really, sort of. It has Myceneans! ) but it's still in development, so that isn't yet playable. Seeing as you've already found the Pelopponesian mod I can only suggest you be patient or interest yourself in different timeframes.
