Any advice and/or help for my kingdom

Ive just started a kingdom for the second time, I have high renown honor and right to rule and control praven and that castle on the swadian coast. I am getting constantly warn down by the swadians and it seems like they have a never ending supply of troops since i have literally killed well over 4000 of them and they keep coming back at me the exact same strength. Does the A.I. get some numerical advantage because  have routed a lords army for him to come at me a week later with an army just as big composed of ELITE units, this make no sense!

on another note my wife has disappeared and she was also my magistrate. She was in praven and it got captured then I retook it and tried to find her (I went everywhere and travelers would never show up) she is lady geata (a swadian) would they have exiled her on capturing praven if so im f--ckd bc since she was my minester im gettin an annoying pop up every six hours (in game time)

Any help slash suggestions greatly appreciated and i apologize for any errors in this post.

What level and troop sizes do you comand? Also your wife will be in the other castle. You made quite a boo boo starting a kingdown in praven. Best to start with a castle hidden away which you can put 120 troops in quickly and mount attacks on other places.

shes not in the other castle strangely, I had for a while an army of 20 swadian knights 30 mameluks and 60 sharpshooters (rhodok), and the about 80 low level troops,  now ive been reduced to nearly nothing nothing after constant barrages Im on 80 something present difficulty and with battle sizes of 110, and the only other castle m kingdom controls i gave to my lord (which may be why she is not there)

currently I have about twenty troops left and my vassal has 60 however we are fine defending the last castle (praven got taken again before I could get there and of course since it was auto battle my troops got massacred)
wife still no-where to be found

i see, in that case your wife is with her father where ever she originates from and will pop back up when you get another place to stay.

As for your kingdom, your ****ed lol. You'll have to pledge vassalage probably.

Keep trying. Fight all battles on the battlemap. Don't engage lords in the open unless they have a much smaller army. Always use commands, as an unorganized charge is wasting lives that are needed elsewhere. Don't use Swadian troops if you're at war with Swadia as the morale hit will have a significant impact on your chance of success. You'll have men deserting left and right, and those that stay won't fight to their full potential. Maybe escape after your next victory and recruit as many Rhodok troops as you can, then bring them back and just hang out in your castle until the next fight. They won't be much good at first but the numbers will help as long as you don't throw them into your garrison. Keep them with you so you can upgrade them after battles. Other than that, all I can say is try to weather the storm. Every time you defeat the besieging lords you're decreasing Swadia's political unity. All you can hope for is that another kingdom will see Swadia in their weakened state and declare war, prompting a truce.

going against swadia is pure suicide, theres no place for u to start a kingdom, all their fiefs are in the middle of the other kingdoms, and if u take one, likely the other kingdoms will declare war on u...

on ur case u got the "isolated" pravem, but since the AI will always go after the player (really, if they are losing all other fiefs, they still come for u...wierd), ur fkd...

go get some saranid mamelukes/vaegit knight and counter the swadian knights, then they take care of their infantry as well...
really, going against swadia, with all these wages bugs/no income, etc, ....

ur asking for the most difficult game ever, hope u at least enjoy the battles

he may not be able to recruite that far out if hes under constant seige and has 20 men. Wouldbe better to vassel and build up an army and do it all again. Doesn't take long to train an army of 100 good men again. Its all i do in peace is dump my army off and go get another 60 recruites to train up.

thanks for all the advice, Im gonna try and hold out (I feel like I have to after making a companion a lord) will update here if I somehow survive this, and about the wife does this mean that i cant get her back until after the war since her father is swadian and as someone said she is probably with him? (she didn't pop up when i recaptured praven)

There's another course you can take, Im not sure you'll be able to pull through and It'll make you a meanie, but at least yit should earn you some peace and quiet. Commit gurrilla attacks against singular Swadian counts and catch them, bring them to your dungeons in Praven. When Swadia offers you cash for them, give them the finger instead.

Yes, you may lose honour, and yes, they'll hate you even more... But them more nobles you put on your dungeons, the less armied they can raise against you. Badabing!

You can ask a king you're at war with to be his Vassal for peace, and you'll get 30 days to get your ass to him and give your oath - and subsequently; 30 days of him not destroying you. You could just let the time run out and fail the quest.
Not tried to see what happened after 30 days though, only initiated the quest for truce - the king in question will probably just start a war again after 30 days but there you go.

Haha,maybe your wife ran off with the magistrate? 

My advice is to try capping more of their castles than they do with yours...if they capture 1,you take 2 Swadians are a ***** to fight,but only if they use the knights and men at arms.

to add to to my situation i just tried to rescue three of my companions (especially jeremus bc i maxed out his surgery) and after I got them out they immediately turned on me and attacked landing me in the dungeon and making me lose the army i just built up.
very annoying bug its like the game wants me to lose

and i really dont get how the swadian lords get knights so fast I can crush their army and 4 days later theyll come back at me with more knights than before, do they not need to train their troops or something?

Its based on money, the more money a lord has, the more and better troops he will have after being defeated, Using swadians makes you loose morale, but if you have enought leadership to comter it, I sugest making a army of about 30 to 50 knights, in my game, the vaegirs had half the nord lands(I had the other half) and half the khergit lands, i conquered them whit 50 knigths and 50 Hurscarls for sieges.
Another thing you can do is hire as many companions as possible, they dont die and even if you loose, you can just sneak in and rescue them easily(unless the game bugs).

Thanks for all the advice everyone, the suggestion to mass rhodok sharpshooters was a savior once I got around 50 of them (great in mass and relatively cheap) i was able to dominate the swads using terrain and retake praven (again) and then move on to taking another of their castles, and in that time i also happened to get 3 of their lords to come over to my side, its looking like a victory for now!

on another note I retook praven an I SAW MY WIFE (who is also minister) I assumed that meant all was good and after talking to her and having her give a fief to my vassal I left only to again get the message that my court has no place (it was originally praven so this should be a non issue) i rush back to praven only to realize my wife is no-where to be found,

I really have no idea where she is because Ive convinced her only family (her brother) to join me as my vassal and her hometown is praven which i control, so I really have no idea where she could be.

(Edit) Swadians are officially dead took Uxhal (spelling?) and suno faction gone, however my wife is still no-where to be found

tried that I even asked her brother who I got to come over (its her only family) hoping that would help, Ive asked travelers lords from my faction pretty much anyone I can
Im guessing this is just a bug much like the loss of court one I am experiencing, which hopefully the next patch will fix

i suspect next patch should fix the whole minister thing so id wait it out.
