lets just say that revolution against oppression =/= revolution for freedom in the "western" sense, oppressed are as likelly to turn into an oppressors on their way to a better tomorrow.

but if Gaddafi win, it will take a long time for him to start over

So, who's right?
The rebel or the Gaddafi?? I heard that the protests was started by the American Intelligent
Is that right?

What the **** are you angling at?

Gaddafi is killing his own people, those who want him out of power. He remains in power only through force, and so must be deposed. Any attempts to do so must be seen as righteous and correct.

It was different in Iran.  In Iran we helped overthrow a democratically-elected leader in order to install a brutal dictator of our choosing, here we are helping to depose a brutal dictator so that the people can democratically elect a new leader who isn't of our choosing.  That's the theory anyway.
People were supposed to depose the dictator (Shah) and bring democracy in Iran too, but their understanding of democracy was bringing an Islamic dictator of their own choosing. Shah was relatively secular, just like Arabian dictators are. People are not revolting against the monarchies, they are trying to depose their relatively secular dictators which I'm afraid only to reinstate Islamic dictatorships. Bahrain is the only exception, where people are revolting against the monarchy but its a small stupid country and doesnt really count hehe. Ironically, Obama told the king of Bahrain to supress the revolters while he resents the Kaddafi's actions for supressing the rebellion.

I was talking about when we (MI6, CIA, and various oil companies) overthrew the democratically elected Iranian leader Mosaddegh in 1953, in order to install the Shah in his place as our puppet leader.  That was a disastrous move.  The Shah and SAVAK (his security forces) were very brutal towards the Iranian people for decades, which is why they eventually threw him out.

They then unfortunately welcomed Khomeini back, and went theocratic Islamist, mostly as a reaction against the atrocities our friendly secular dictator (the Shah) had visited upon them during his rule. They had every right (in fact, they were obliged) to kick out the Shah, just as the people of Libya are obliged to kick out Gadaffi, finally.  Their leaders do not serve their countries.  They serve us, or strive to.  They are traitors against the nations they rule, so they have to be removed, so that the people can have self-determination (of a sort).

Obama is a two-faced scumbag the same as the rest of them. The UK government also does not want to see the Bahraini royal family deposed - I wish someone would ask David Cameron about Ian Henderson.

EDIT:  Gadaffi is about as far from being a secular leader as it's possible to get.  He was a hardcore Islamist for thirty years, and didn't suddenly stop when Tony Blair shook his hand and gave him a kiss.

People have every right to overthrow their dictators but in this case I dont interprete the events as a strive for democracy, otherwise Saudi Arabia would have gotten under it's influence too. Islamist faction alerady gained the upper hand in Egypt, Muslims that overthrow their governments will most likely seek shelter in radical Islam, and judging from the western interference another puppet state like Saudi Arabia is likely to happen.

I said RELATIVELY. Nationalism is his primary concern, Islam is just a cement. Just look at his female bodyguards or his remarks regarding concerns about Al-Qaeda or sharia taking over the country. He claims Islam needs a reform and he is the person that will make it happen.

Btw, According to US Joint Chiefs of Staff the goal of international operation in Libyan isn't "to oust the Libyan leader"
so it's possible that they are going to try to enforce a case fire and talks between the two sides, in order to avoiding urban warfare that will lead to a lot of casualties and unwanted escalations.

also so far the strike destroyed more than 20 radar systems, communications centers, surface-to-air missile sites and other Libyan targets.

"The entire world isn't against us! Its only a few hundred people who are zombies are against us. I am the prophet Mohammed. Look down now back up, this protest is now diamonds... I'm on the moon."
Colonel Gaddafi.

That is probably whats going on in his head.

Yeah! Damn those Al-Qaeda drugged rebel terrorist militia zombies and the barbaric foreign crusading nazi colonialists who are attacking his country! It might look bad, but luckily he has full support of his own people and also the support of those crusading Hitlerist countries people who are demanding for their leaders to stop attacks against Libyan people!

After they defeated Gaddafi, they will surely put their man to rule Libya
that's what i thought

or, the Libyan people have to protest again

They aren't going to occupy Libya, UN charter specifically states that. They are supporting rebels from air and bombing way clear to them. It is rebels job to clean Gaddafis regime out of power and then rebuild the country.
