Why do people have abortions? I'm never gonna get pregnant but if I didn't want it i'd put it up for adoption.

You're male, aren't you?  Do you ever...talk to women?  Have you ever seen a birth or pregnancy?  Most of my friends have various thoughts like yours until they get their first pregnancy scare, then their position changes a bit.  Its apparently very, very different looking at your options when you're the one facing the pregnancy and birth process.
