Galerius

Regular
I am playing version 2.0.

So I kill the guy with hell of a lot of farmers etc. and then I get him as prisoner and ransomed him for a Qualis gem.
Woot I'm thrilled and I look at my inventory which was full of stuff when I ransomed him.
So I didn't get the gem cause there wasn't a free slot in my inventory. ****ing annoying.

Do something about this, will you ?

Why can't my character say like "unfortunately, there's no room in my inventory" ?

1st of all: 2.0 isn´t officially supported anymore. Current version is 2.02. Soon 2.03. Please upgrade. No, it isn´t save-compatible.

2nd: This has been reported multiple times. If you had spent browsing this page before making any ****ing annoyingly requests you may have noticed that several people reported that once their inventory was full (=no empty slot available) any surplus item they may have gotten simply dissapeared.

So did your Qualis Gem, so did quite many Qualis Gems, so will further Qualis Gems.

Just take this as a future lesson how to keep, care and strife for precious gems.

You character can´t say "Why, Galerius, unfortunately there´s no room in my inventory" BECAUSE he´s got no brain but you do. It´s a native thing. Be more careful next time.

Thank you.

Galerius, Ensais, meet Noosers.  He's not so bad once you get to know him, provided you come up to speed on the questions that have been asked often enough to annoy him.

For future benefit of yourself and others:
- Bug reports on an old version no longer supported are less likely to be recieved well.  There are abundant reasons that the current release is 2.02 not 2.0.  PoP isn't to the point of putting nice to haves in patches yet, and when it gets there it'll more than likely be a new version 3.0.  Anything after the decimal point indicates primarily a bugfix version, so it's important.
- There's not (to my knowledge) a scripting function available to check if inventory is full and trigger dialog options based on the result.  Party, yes, inventory, no.  So you can't get a warning like you asked for.  Random nice things happen in PoP, some of which give you stuff (sometimes epicly worthy stuff like Qualis gems).  It behooves you to always empty a few slots before talking to anyone.
- Odds are superb that you're not the first to ask any particular question.  There's no FAQ because the designer wanted us each to experience the joy of finding out the quirks and solving the riddles for ourselves, not just read up on them.  Unfortunately this has made it a bit tougher to come up to speed on other aspects as well.  So, I HIGHLY recommend that any new player take the time to read through the first page or two of threads before investing much play time into this mod.

You, sirs, have been noosersed.  He's become a verb around these parts.

But everything he says is true.  Just not as.... diplomatic as some may like.

Upgrade.  Read the forums.  Put bug reports in their proper place.

And while you're at it, have fun pwning Pendor.
