Uhm... actually, there will be gloves and a seperate armor slot for gloves. Unfortunately we'll have only a pair of leather gloves for the time being but ipek promised to produce more glove types after we move into the office (she's busy packing stuff these days)

Another new feature will be being able to reload lighter crossbows on horseback (I wanted to implement some more suggestions before release). However, as Cataphract said, most of the new features are internal to the game engine and will not really be noticable (except for modders) Still, they are very important new features, and will open up a lot of new possibilities for both modders and our own future development.

I'll also experiment with new balancing decisions. For example, every two points of intelligence will give a skill point now. And most importantly you'll be able to upgrade troops that are up to 5 plus your level. So you will not be able to train knights at the beginning of the game. Well, we will see how it will turn out...

Congrats on the new office Armagan and Ipek, you've definitely earned it. As far as gloves are concerned I'm sure there will be many variant textures after the new version is released.

Congratulations, both of you! It's good to see a quality game not only surviving, but thriving admirably.

Excellent stuff. I popped in here on the offchance that there would be news of an update, and... well, I was satisfied.

Great to hear, armagan.

Maybe I should give up my peaceful life and return to the battlefield. Or not. I'll have to see the new version and hope my long-slumbering enthusiasm returns.

It's the M&B forum, why not?!

I could say "congratulations" to Armagan and Ipek... well, I will. Congratulations to you both, and I wish you success and happiness without bounds in your every venture!

Additionally, thank you very much for spawning such a wonderful game, c'est magnifique, at the moment my younger sibling is teaching me what makes Rome: TW better than Medieval (when I can actually get to the computer), but I am most definitely soiling myself in anticipation of the next update, now.

Hey Jon Strange. Haven't seen you for a long while.

While I no longer post because it didn't seem to matter (all our suggestions and no update) and because there wasn't any new content to comment on, I do read the forum posts from time to time, and of course, play M&B almost daily.

He only crawls out of the woodwork when something m&b related happens

I'm just glad to see there are still enthusiastic gamers here! Cool, wish I felt the same rush as I did when I faced my first Khergit attack.

Cheers! We need to all get Second Life accounts so that when this game releases in its final version, we can have a REAL fake party.
