Announcement forum

Hey all, first post, loving M&B yadda yadda.


My suggestion is a forum locked to everyone but official tails people, for announcements. So we can jump in, check the forum for anything new, and skip to rooting though threads for news.

I would prefer the 'global sticky' someone mentioned in a similar thread, but I don't know if phpbb supports them.

Is there really a software team? I thought it was just a myth? Why don't you set up a 'No Announcements' Board that can be regularly not updated with no announcements so we can all stop wasting our time visiting here?!
